I wrote this song for my friend Kaili. she had just ended her first really long relationship and was very sad. I wrote this song with the intention that she would sing it. sometimes things move to fast and schedules can't connect. i went ahead and recorded it without her. hopefully one day she sings it with her band The Pining. they are stellar and could probably put a nice spin on it. make it a little more lonesome country.
