My friend Jason Lormand asked me to be his best man at his wedding. I wrote this song about our friendship and sang it as my speech. Years later he returned the favour and wrote me a song and sang it at my wedding. It's called 'A house with no knives"
I hope to record it one day.

I stayed with him and Spinner in a Howard Johnson

I had big thick glasses
he gave me a nickname
he said, you look like a Big Scary Nerd to me
I said "why?"
he said, "cause you just look like one"

it still sticks with me to this day

I'll be taking that nickname to the grave

we grew up together on Purple Hill
running through backyards and raising hell
